KNX RF Pairing Adapter (AFZM-0001)

1 Area of application

The KNX Pairing Adapter (AFZM-0001) is specifically designed for use with KNX Push Button Module (AFIM-0010) The adapter provides temporary power to the Push Button Module during the configuration process

2 Starting up and using

Before use the Push Button Module should be configured using the ETS 5 software tool. For the configuration, the Push Button Module should be put in configuration mode using the auxiliary device AFZM-0001. Mount the auxiliary device on to the Push Button Module (note the labeling “top”). This auxiliary device provides the Push Button Module with power during the configuration process. After mounting the auxiliary device the Push Button Module reverts automatically to configuration mode. The red LED illuminates. The configuration created using the ETS 5 software can be downloaded to the Push Button Module.

During download process the red LED flashes. Afterremoving the auxiliary device the Push Button Module reverts back to operating mode.

4 Battery replacement

To replace the batteries, remove the cap by pulling down on the lug, which is located towards the top of the handle. Please pay special attention to the polarity.
